Dress 4 Success

19 03 2007

So you wanna be in Show business? Like the songs says, there’s no business like SHOW business! I wouldn’t be where I am today if it were not for the second hand stores across this great nation. I can count on one hand the times I’ve spent over 20 bucks on a costume. Thrift markets are my ally in the quest for a hot dress. There’s nothing like stretching a hard earned dollar.

On the other hand, you are a Runway Queen! Glamorous, Exciting, and Addictive eye candy. From my experience, the better you look in your clothes, the less likely you will be needing to take them off.

So here are a few tips when hunting for that seductive tip earner dress.

For those of you that have never gone to a Salvation Army, this may take some practice. So don’t get discouraged if you don’t strike it rich the first time out the gate. Either pay full price or spend some time searching for bargains. Whatever you chose, you need gear and lots of it to mix and match.

Since I am currently living in Chicago, I go to Diana’s Fashions 1251 N. Milwaukee Ave. (near Ashland) for swimsuit fabric thongs.

Swim wear fabric is easy to wear for hours because it doesn’t bite or cut your crotch. Starting with the thong from your favorite lingerie shop helps you stick to the newest color themes. Once you have the thong, you can build the rest of the look around it.
